Senator Adams Oshiomhole

Senator Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mrs. Henrietta Anibokun Ugheoke, wife of Hon. Joseph Ugheoke, describing her death as a painful loss not only to her immediate family but also to the Azukhala-Ekperi community and Etsako Central Local Government Area.

In a condolence message released on Tuesday, Oshiomhole said the late Mrs. Ugheoke was a virtuous woman and devout Catholic who lived a life of faith, humility, and unwavering devotion to her family. He noted that she was a loving mother who raised her children with compassion and the fear of God, and a steadfast pillar of support to her husband

“Mrs. Ugheoke was a woman of grace and quiet strength who built a stable home anchored on strong moral values. She served as a bastion of unshakable support and a reliable advisor to her husband. Her departure is a great loss to all who knew her,” Oshiomhole said.

The Senator representing Edo North prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul, saying, “May she find eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord whom she served so faithfully in life. I pray that God grants Hon. Ugheoke and the children the fortitude to bear this painful loss and find comfort in the cherished memories they shared with her.”

Oshiomhole, who is a former Governor of Edo State, also extended his condolences on behalf of his family and the people of Edo North Senatorial District to the Ugheoke family, the larger Azukhala-Ekperi community, and the entire people of Etsako Central.

“May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” he added.
