During the meeting, the Embassy delegation was briefed on the university’s international degree programmes, Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship opportunities, and support services available for foreign students.
The Ambassador was also taken on a tour round the facilities of the University after a very meaningful engagement with the university management.
Currently, 11 Nigerian students are actively studying at DUE, six of whom are beneficiaries of the prestigious Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship. Most of them are enrolled in Computer Engineering, while others are studying Business Administration and Management, and Communication and Media Science.

The delegation also toured the university’s laboratories and interacted with lecturers and Nigerian students to gain first-hand insights into academic life and student experiences at DUE.
