In a significant act of grassroots intervention, Senator Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole has restored the Igbei Borehole, bringing much-needed relief to the residents of Igbei community in Edo North. The once-dilapidated borehole had left the community without a reliable source of clean water for years—forcing many to rely on distant or unsafe water sources.
Thanks to Senator Oshiomhole’s swift action, the borehole has been fully repaired and made functional again, ensuring the community now has access to clean and safe water. The project, part of his ongoing 2024 constituency interventions, underscores his unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life for rural dwellers across Edo North.
In a video showing the before and after condition of the borehole, residents can be seen expressing heartfelt gratitude for the senator’s timely support. One local elder remarked, “We had lost hope, but Senator Oshiomhole has given us reason to smile again.”
